Verification capacity & usage
TrustRegistry is metered trust infrastructure. Every plan includes a monthly verification capacity and a monitoring capacity. Usage above your included capacity is served automatically and billed at period end — verification traffic is never hard-stopped.

Why we don't hard stop traffic
Trust infrastructure is business-critical. When customers launch a new product, onboard a cohort of merchants, run an underwriting event, or hit a growth surge, verification traffic needs to keep flowing — silent failures break onboarding funnels and create compliance gaps.
TrustRegistry automatically serves verification requests above plan capacity and bills the additional usage at period end. This aligns our incentives with customer growth: you should never lose a customer because your trust layer threw 429s.
- No hard monthly cap on Starter, Growth, Scale, or Enterprise.
- No per-second or per-minute throttling on production endpoints today.
- Abuse protection only engages on sustained anomalous patterns (e.g. leaked credentials). You will be contacted, not silently throttled.
Usage response headers
Every billable response includes headers describing your current month-to-date usage so you can surface it in your own admin UI or trigger internal alerts.

Overage model
- Overage is metered per verification and aggregated continuously.
- Additional usage is billed automatically at your plan's applicable overage rate, invoiced at the end of the billing period.
- You can view live usage and overage in Dashboard → Usage.
- Requests that return
status: "unsupported_state"are not billed. - Authentication failures (
401) are not billed.
